Dybbøl kirke er en typisk landsbykirke, hvidkalket og med rødt tegltag.
Udefra syner den større end en almindelig landsbykirke. Længden skyldes, at der mod øst er et gravkapel for slægten Reventlow, som fik patronatsretten i 1673.
Det ældste af kirken stammer fra det 12. århundrede. Det er den del af kirkerummet, som ligger omkring korbuen. I 1586 skete der en korforlængelse og gravkapellet blev tilføjet i 1750. I 1790 blev kirken forlænget mod vest. Men størst er den udvendige forandring indenfor de sidste 150 år, da et våbenhus og klokkestabel veg pladsen for tilbygningen af kirketårnet i 1857.
Kirken gennemgik en omfattende restaurering i 1956-1959 og står nu som en smuk ramme om de kirkelige handlinger i Dybbøl. Se mere på: (visit link)

From the outside it appears larger than an ordinary landsbykirke. Length due to the eastward is a grave chapel of the genus Reventlow who received patronatsretten in 1673.
The oldest of the church dates from the 12th century. This is the part of church space, which is around korbuen. In 1586 there was a korforlængelse and funeral chapel was added in 1750. In 1790 the church was extended to the west. But the greatest is the external change in the last 150 years, since a våbenhus and time table gave way to the extension of the church tower in 1857.
