Geocache Description:

A quick cache hidden next to an old church. My son felt we needed some more caches in the area that were kid friendly and easy to grab.

I came home from work Friday and my 4 year old had my wife's new tupperware full of his toys and a notepad. He wanted to go hide this cache immediately. The contents are of his choosing so some are a little odd but none the less any kid should be able to find something. The only thing I could add at the time was a TB for the FTF (sorry).

This is an old church which is part of the Mohonk preserve property (history hopefully following soon). Unfortunately, the church isn't used much anymore but I'm sure in it's day it was quite busy.

History on the cache name: My wife's wedding ring was stolen from our house 4 years ago. This year for her birthday I picked out a nice new stone and then was going to let her choose the setting. I wanted to do something a little different so I hid the diamond just outside this church. Later that day when we were heading out to celebrate her birthday I requested that we stop here to look for a new cache that was just posted. I know she was very excited when she found it but I was called a number of choice words for leaving the diamond in this location for most of the day.
