Geocache Description:

Once upon a time this was a short section of Tamarack Rd which came up from Bielenberg Dr. The old asphalt still remains. There may even be an old traffic cone in the area (from the looks of it they gave up on this road).

I have grown up and worked in/near the City of Woodbury for most of my life and it is amazing to think of what it used to be and what it is today. There was a day when there was close to nothing east of 494. There were places like Howard Johnsons, Sinclair, Jerry's Foods, the ONLY mall in town was Valley Creek Mall, KDWB Station and broadcast towers, Hwy 12, Capt Jacks Bowling, Valley Creek Lanes or Woodbury Bowl, Woodbury Billiards, Donatelli's and Ol' Mexico.

Now we have too many malls to count and development almost all the way to Manning!

This is on city property but it is not a park.

Enjoy the cache its a shocker!
