La maison natale de Milly est le centre d’un parcours
lamartinien de quelques dizaines de kilomètres, et fait partie
d'un des plus beaux circuits littéraires en France, en tout
cas le plus romantique.

lui inspira certain de ses plus beaux poèmes,dont "milly ou
la terre natale" et "la vigne et la
maison".

1860 , the house which inspired some of his most beautiful poems,
including "milly or homeland" and "the vine and the house

beau château de Saint Point du XVe siècle est le préféré de
Lamartine jusqu’à la mort de sa fille Julia
.

La petite église qui jouxte le château protège le tombeau du poète,

800 mètres du château, on trouve dans le bois "l’arbre de
Jocelyn", au pied duquel Lamartine a conçu son poème.

Bussières.
De Milly à Bussières, il n’y a qu’une bonne marche à
faire, celle qu’effectue chaque jour le jeune Alphonse pour
se rendre chez son précepteur l’abbé Dumont
(pour suivre les leçons de latin et de
français).
From Milly to Bussières, there is only one good walk to do
that every day the young Alphonse made

En chemin, on peut s’arrêter à la grotte
du Monsard située au-dessus du village de bussieres
appelée
aujourd’hui la grotte
de Jocelyn, C’est en effet l’abbé qui
inspire à Lamartine le personnage de "Jocelyn",et la
tradition dit que François Dumont cachait son
amante, Jacqueline de Pierreclau, dans cette
grotte.
Along the way, we can stop at the cave Monsard above the village of
Bussieres now called the Cave of Jocelyn, It was the abbot who
inspired the character of Lamartine "Jocelyn", and tradition says
that Francis Dumont hid his lover, Jacqueline de Pierreclau in this
cave.
Une plaque repose sur un côté de la belle église de Bussières,
en souvenir du prêtre, et le presbytère se trouve juste
là.
