Topol u cesty / Poplar at the trek
[CZ] Topol vlašský, který stojí u polní cesty spojující
Dretovice a Zájezd není v podstate nicím významný. Zajímavý muže
být pouze fakt, že je skoro na polovine cesty od Dretovické hospody
k, dnes již bohužel zrušené, restauraci Rusalka v Zájezdu. Kdysi
byl soucástí stromoradí, které bylo již dávno vykáceno. V tomto
roce (2009) to bude už pet kdy, obcané Dretovic zacali znovu
stromoradí obnovovat.
Každý kdo mel tehdy zájem, si zakoupil za 30,- Kc jeden nebo
více stromku a zasadil jej. Zároven organizátori vyrobili cedulky
se jmény, které pak byly na stromy pripevneny. Jména již nejsou u
vetšiny stromku videt. Nekteré stromky neprežili pustošení hladovou
zverí
. Nekteré ale ano.
Ten topol je dnes hlídá a dohlíží na novou generaci, které se
snad bude darit.
[EN] This poplar tree is not really important. It grows
at the trek which connects Dretovice and Zajezd. The only
interesting fact we can find about this tree is that it is almost
on the halfway from Dretovice pub to Rusalka restaurant in Zajezd.
But this restaurant is closed now. The poplar was a piece of alley.
But the alley was cut down long time ago. It is five years now
(2009) when citizens of Dretovice started to renew the alley.
Every one who wanted could buy his own tree for 30,- Kc each and
plant it. Organizers created a labels with the names of owners
also. The names on the labels are not possible to see anymore in
most cases but some of them remained. Some of the young trees
didn't survived devastation caused by hungry animals
But some of them are still there.
The poplar guards them and keeps an eye on them. Lets hope that
this new generation will flourish.

Významné
stromy Jedná se o Topol Vlašský (Populus pyramidalis), který
zde roste osamocene a tak tvorí výraznou krajinnou dominantu.

set. It is a cultivar from Populus alba (White poplar) called
Populus pyramidalis. It is an interesting nature dominant feature
of the area.
