Geocache Description:

Geometric Progression

Geometric Progression was designed by Guy Ngan and installed at the intersection of Victoria and Mercer Streets in 1974. The original work was removed to make way for the new Civic Centre in 1989. In 2006 Geometric Progression was restored and relocated to the Michael Fowler car park on Wakefield Street. This cache is aimed at bringing people to view this out-of-the-way, iconic artwork.

About the cache

The cache is micro in size and as such it only contains a logsheet. To log your find you will need to bring your own pen.

About the location

Due to its CBD location, pedestrians can appear very suddenly and without warning and as there may be people in cars parked nearby, and office buildings overlooking the site, patience and extreme stealth must be practised when searching for and replacing the cache!

Please make sure that the cache is replaced *exactly* as found as we don't want this to go MIA!

Logging your Find
Due to the cache's size I have to use a small log sheet so please just log your name and date of discovery. Please let me know when the logsheet is nearing maintenance time and I will supply a new sheet.
