Monster Drive - Dochgarroch Traditional Geocache

One of a series of caches which can easily be done in a days drive around Loch Ness - total distance of approximately 75 miles. The drive is best done in an anticlockwise direction, using the A82 from Inverness to Fort Augustus and the B862/B852 from Fort Augustus to Inverness - this is the best direction to travel for easy parking. All the caches are a short distance from the available parking, unless otherwise stated.

Dochgarroch lies on the Caledonian Canal approximately four miles south west of Inverness. A set of locks gives access between Loch Ness and the canal. To find out more about the Caledonian Canal go here
