Geocache Description:

This traditional cache is located on the Monongahela National Forest, along the Thomas Reserve Trail in the vicinity of the Cranberry Glades.

To access the area drive Route 55 to about 6/10ths of a mile west of the intersection of Rt. 150/ 55 to the junction of Forest Service Road 102. Take Forest Service Road 102 for approximately 8/10ths of a mile and park at the Thomas Reserve trail head.
The rest of the trip requires a hike of about a half mile on the Thomas Reserve Trail.

If one wishes to also grab the Prison Farm Cache at the same time, there is a circuit hike I recommend. You can incorporate the Thomas Reserve Trail, and portions of the Cowpasture and Charles Creek Trails for a loop of just over two miles in length. I have included a map in the gallery.

Care should be taken during hunting season and Forest Service Road 102 is not plowed for snow.

The container is a Lock-n-Lock plastic box
