Geocache Description:

A micro cache and dash at one of the Island's 8 'mainline' stations.

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many Motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.

Sandown is near the end of Island Line's unique railway. Running with ex London Underground carriages due to the guage of the rails this is one of the querkiest sections of the country's national rail network.

The container is a 35mm film cannister.
It's location has been chosen for ease of recovery rather than ansthetics so sorry that it's not the prettiest area of an otherwise tidy station and it is accessable 24/7 as it is on the edge of the station perimeter.

Replaced by the station car park to help searchers be more discrete but beware of the multiple dog walkers around the area. Access from inside the fenceline.
