Geocache Description:

Located in an U.S. Army Corp of Engineers access area. This area was once used by the U.S. Air Guard to practice low altitude payload drops from military cargo aircraft,so the area is known as The Drop Zone. The area can be accessed by foot or ATV.Signs indicate ATV use is legal as long as the regulations are observed. The area is closed after dark.

You are looking for a 30cal. ammo can, filled with some unique items...3 3/32 hi alloy welding rods,4 555 timers,25amp solid state relay,120V to 25V control transformer, and other assorted electronic components. The welding rods are great for welding on to broken off bolts to aid in their removal, and the 555 timers are a very versatile and popular IC.A quick web search will yield a wealth of information on this IC.
The cache location is about a five minute walk from the parking area,or a 20 second 4 wheeler ride.In warm months watch out for snakes!!!
I could only get 36' accuracy on my GPS unit but it shouldn't be too difficult to locate.
I'm sure it would be frowned on today but flying off the loading ramp at 45mph on a dirt bike is quite exhilarating!

Please take a photo of yourself with the camera.
