Geocache Description:

Most South East island of Norway - Søndre Sandøy, Hvaler. Close to Swedish border. South West inlet of island. Eastern side. Short walk up from stone wharf. Remnants found of early settlement.

If you are interested in Norwegian history - then this GEOCACHE is for you! Look around the terrain and you will notice the footprint of early settlement from the 16th century. After exploring this small island dense in forest and rich in bird and wildlife we suggest you visit the local community around Nedgården before you take the boat back home.
