knowschad: Last I heard, somebody moved it, and since then, nobody has been able to find it. Time to let somebody else use this spot anyway. As KB says, "another one bites the dust".

Geocache Description:

This cache is not about the hide as much as it is about the location.

Old Salem Church (or "Kirche"), organized in the winter of 1857, was the first Evangelical congregation in Dakota County. In 1855, two Canadian families (Gackstetter and Laschinger) acquired farm land in the county and promptly requested ministerial leadership. The 1856 Wisconsin conference of the Evangelical Church assigned Andrew Tarnutzer to the Minnesota Territory. By March of 1857, he had organized class meetings in both Inver Grove and Dayton's Bluff.

Please take care to replace exactly where you found it. If each one of you does that, it will stay where I put it. Thanks!
