How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Ed's Circuit is a series of 16 caches that we have placed on a circular route that Miss Chilihouse went round many times in the Spring of 2008 when she enjoyed a loan of a piebald pony called Ed based in the stables near to the second cache in this series.

You will see many horses (and probably other wildlife) on this circuit, possibly being ridden but definitely in the fields that you pass.

The circuit is a mixture of bridleways, footpaths and lanes, with a very short connecting stretch on a busier road. It is likely to be very muddy in places so appropriate footwear will be needed. The difficulty & terrain ratings reflect the series and not this individual cache.

Suggested parking is on Compton Street, the entrance of which can be found at N51°01.704 W001°19.910.

Many of the caches contain a pen or pencil whilst some don't - if you are planning on doing the series then please remember to bring something to write with.

You are looking for a 35mm film container. Please re-hide carefully.

When we're out caching, especially on a series, we usually carry a supply of replacement log sheets so that we can help out the cache owner by carrying out any maintenance that's required.

If anybody would like to replace any logs that need servicing in our caches, please feel free!
