Geocache Description:

Riga, Bišumuiža, terrain -2 metres

[Eng]A photofilm container. Contains a logbook, pencil, sharpener. Seek for ruins of a cellar in the forest. It is not deep in the forest! The best to visit the place at daytime.
The most interesting thing about this cache is the way you get to the place. There are only a few roads leading to it and the views are .. spectacular. See Riga from another point of view.

[Lat] Fotofilminas konteiners. Satur logbooku, ziimuli un asinamo. Slepnis ir veca pagraba/noliktavas drupas, kas atrodas arpus muižas teritorijas (meža).

Gleznaina Bišumuiža kadreiz bija bagatu ridzinieku vasaras mitne, velak – ari rupniecibas rajons, pec Pirma pasaules kara – klusa Rigas nomale. Bišumuiža ka apdzivota vieta saka veidoties 18.gadsimta pie Bauskas cela netalu no nelielas Bišupites ietekas Daugava. Upites ieloka 1773.gada pacelas kadas bagatas Rigas namnieku dzimtas - Šilderu vasaras mitne, kas ieguva Bišumuižas (vacu val. Bienenhof) nosaukumu. Ap 1810.gadu Bišumuiža saka saimniekot Rigas tirgotaju Brandenburgu gimene, kas uzcela šeit vienu no pirmajam cukura fabrikam Riga.
1884. gada tika atklata omnibusa satiksme no Bišumuižas uz Rigas centru, omnibuss kurseja 5-9 reizes diena un pastaveja lidz pat 20. gadsimta sakumam, kad to nomainija tramvajs.
Tagad uz Bišumuižu var noklut ar slaveno 10.Tramvaju.
