This cache is located in an Apple Valley Park that Herb Pennock would absolutely love.

Herb Pennock was a hall of fame pitcher considered by one author to be one of the 100 greatest baseball players of all time. He won three World Series championships with the New York Yankees. He amassed a record of 5-0 in the post season. He was a south paw best known for his time spent with the star-studded New York Yankee teams of the mid-to-late-1920s and early 1930s.
