The Oppidum de Murcens is a Gallo-Roman site overlooking the river Vers. The area includes the ruins of the look out tower and walls. There are also the remainings of a 19th century blacksmith workshop.
From Cras follow directions to Oppidum de Murcens. You will need to leave car and follow on foot when the sign displaying a small red arrow with Oppidum de Murcens starts pointing to a track. Lovely walk through wooded area.
The cache overlooks the spot where horses would have been tied up to be shoed.
