Saint Maudez Mystery Cache

La chapelle de Saint Maudez est l’une des plus belles du patrimoine culturel et architectural de la commune de Clohars-Carnoët. Elle est nichée dans un écrin de verdure, à une distance suffisante du littoral pour la préserver du tumulte touristique. Je vous propose deux options de parking. Le premier se situe à environ 250m de la chapelle par un chemin facilement praticable avec une poussette. Le second s’adresse aux plus courageux et se situe près des plages et d’une aire de jeux pour les petits. Il nécessite une marche d’un bon kilomètre dont une partie dans de petits sentiers. Par ailleurs, il existe d’autres possibilités d’accès que vous pourrez découvrir par vous-même en consultant une carte IGN.

Au pied du poteau gauche du portail, vous trouverez un gros fil de pêche et la position de la cache finale est attachée au bout de ce fil. La boite se trouve tout près de là, juste un peu à l’écart de la chapelle. Bon geocaching !
MERCI de bien replacer l'indice bien dissimulé pour qu'il ne soit pas visible et la cache exactement comme vous l'avez trouvée. Pour atteindre la boite, vous devrez franchir une clôture électrifiée (avec l'accord de la fermière !). Prenez soin de ne pas l'endommager...


The Saint Maudez chapel is one of the most beautiful of our local country, in a quiet place rather distant of the coast. Two parking spots are purposed. The first is about 840 ft distant by a very easy way. The second is near the beaches and require almost a mile of walk, partially through strait footpaths. Many other ways can be found at your convenience basing on topographic maps.

At the foot of the left hand pole of the portal, you'll find a thick nylon fishingline secured on. Follow the line to get the box position, not too far. Enjoy geocaching !
THANKS to replace the clue carefully hidden to be unvisible and the box exactly as you found it. To reach the box place, you'll have to pass over an electric fence (with farmer's agreement). Take care to not damage it...
