[ENG] Cache is placed not far from the Daile Theatre.
Dailes teatris ir profesionals latviešu teatris, kas dibinats 1920.gada 19.novembri Riga, Lacpleša iela 25 (tagad tur atrodas Jaunais Rigas teatris), ar Raina lugas "Indulis un Arija" izradi. Teatra pirmais galvenais režisors no ta dibinašanas lidz 1965.gadam bija Eduards Smilgis. Kopš 1977.gada teatris atrodas Brivibas iela 75, eka, kuru projektejusi latviešu arhitekte Marta Stana.
Kopš 1921. gada DT regulari dodas viesizrades uz Latvijas novadiem.
No 1925. gada DT piedalijies dažados starptautiskos konkursos, izstades, skates. 1925. gada Parizes Starptautisko dekorativo makslu izstade DT sanema Grand Prix un Diplome d’Honneur. Padomju laika guvis neskaitamas balvas dažadu valstu dramaturgijas festivalos.
[ENG] The Daile Theatre is an outstanding part of Latvian culture.
The curtain on the stage of the Daile Theatre first opened on november 19, 1920, when the troupe performed Rainis' tragedy "Indulis and Arija".
The Daile Theatre has proven its sustainability with full honour in this era. The theatre has held on to its audiences and has increased the number of new productions each season. The bases for these achievements is a synthesis between traditions and the search for new ways.
