A little village hidden in rural Southland.
This mysterious little village does not appear on any map, but is a wonder to behold.
The village is on private property, but you do NOT need to enter private property to find the cache. Please feel free to admire the village through the fence, but DO NOT ENTER THE PROPERTY. (During the Summer months, if the owners, who are aware of the cache, see you, you may be lucky enough to be invited in to look around).
Please do not visit this cache after dark, to avoid disturbing the property owners, and besides it would be a wasted visit as you wouldn’t get to see the village.
Please do not drive or park on the neatly kept grass verge if it is wet. Park on the gravel area near the gate.
As this is a roadside cache, with trucks and farm equipment passing by please supervise children and pets.
The cache is a green painted 1 litre Sistema container at ground level invisible from 0 metres.
Please ensure the cache is replaced well back under its covering material to avoid an unfortunate encounter with a lawnmower!
