Dieser Multi-Cache bringt euch in ein Waldgebiet zwischen Villmar und Runkel mit einigen interessanten Felsformationen und grandiosen Aussichten. Gelände und Verstecke sind anspruchsvoll.
Startpunkt ist der Marktflecken Villmar an der Lahn. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es hinter der Bahnschranke wie angegeben. Dabei fahrt ihr über die sehenswerte Marmorbrücke. Der Weg führt zunächst entlang der Lahn Richtung Runkel bis zum Stage 1, der über einen beschrankten Bahnübergang erreichbar ist. Die Schranke öffnet der freundliche Wärter, den ihr mit dem gelben Telefon anrufen müsst.
An Stage 1 findet ihr die neuen Koordinaten in einem Petling und so geht das weiter bis zum Final. Ihr könnt die Stages über den Kamm oberhalb der Bahnlinie erreichen. Spannender und anstrengender ist natürlich die direkte Linie über schmale Fusspfade. Dann ist allerdings ein wenig Scouting erforderlich. Nach dem Loggen des Final geht es zu einer Bahnunterführung und auf dem Lahnradweg locker zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
Die Verstecke der Petlinge sind auf den Spoilerbildern. Insgesamt ein kleines Abenteuer für grosse Cacher von 1,5-2 Stunden Dauer.
This multi-cache brings you to a little forest between Villmar and Runkel with some interesting rock formations and gorgeous views.
From the parking spot head west direction Runkel along the Lahn. Stage 1 will be reached after crossing the railway lines. In order to open the gate please call the caretaker of the railway crossing with the yellow phone. If you cannot speak German, try English or just hit the lever a few times. He'll know what to do.
At stage 1 you will find the coordinates of stage 2 in a micro. You can reach all stages over the rim above the railway line. However it is far more challenging to take the direct route along some small hiking tracks. Scouting and route finding is necessary. After logging the final you can take the tunnel under railway to return to Villmar on a bicycle track.
The micros are on the spoilers. This is a little adventure for big cachers which lasts 1.5-2 hours.
