"Tatekawa Jindou Bridge" was built by "Joto Electric Tramway Co.,Ltd" and the route was reopened between "Suijin-mori" and "Ojima" in January 1921.
The tram was called "CHIN CHIN DENSHA" and named for the sound of Foot Gong.
It was municipalized by Tokyo in 1942 but discontinued all along the line because motorization changed ordinary people's lives in tandem with the penetration of car.
If you visit here from "Kameido Station", you will see beautiful cherry blossoms in "Kameido Green Street Park" in springtime.

堅川人道橋(たてかわ じんどう きょう)は1921年(大正10年)に城東電気軌道株式会社によって、水神森～大島間を結ぶために架設され、その車両は「チンチン電車」と呼ばれ親しまれましたが、1942年(昭和17年)市営、翌1943年(昭和18年)に都営となった後、車社会の急速な発達により赤字化し、1972年(昭和47年)に廃止されました。
最寄り駅は、総武本線 亀戸駅です。亀戸駅から最初のポイントに向かう時、季節が春なら「亀戸緑道公園」は綺麗な桜の花を見ながらの散歩道となるでしょう。

この公園は、最初のポイントのすぐ南側にあります。その公園に入るには、最初のポイントから南東方向へ１０ｍほど歩くと階段がありますので、そこから降りてください。
2番目のポイントは公園の南側の壁にあり「堅川護岸ギャラリー」と書かれています。そこから東方向へ歩くと、次の橋までに、多くの絵が南側の壁に描かれているのが見えると思います。
