A very steep climb to the top of some cliffs. Involves some easy scrambling, unsuitable for those with a fear of heights. Please take great care near cliff edges.
Please note the terrain rating for this cache is 4.5, it is only a short distance from the road but involves steep terrain and some easy scrambling.
Parking is available for a couple of cars but take care as the verges can be soft.
Find a well used path with a climbing rope tied between trees to help you up the slope to the bottom of the cliff. Please do not climb on the cliffs as this can be very dangerous. Once at the bottom of the cliffs follow the path that skirts around the right hand side of the crag which will take you to the top. Once at the top of the main crag you must find your way up one more short section of rock before you can begin looking for the cache.
This cliff is occasionally used by organised groups for rock climbing. If you arrive and there is a group climbing please leave it and come back another time.
The cache,when placed, contained A First To Find Badge, "Rock Nuts" TB, a portable radio, Candles, an Eyeball, Seeds, Yo Yo, Key Ring, and the usual Log Book, pens, sharpner, erasers, Highlighters etc.
Please be very careful at all times on steep ground and around cliff edges.
