Mar 11th, "Bowling Green Style - Meet & Eat" Event Cache

This event is "Special" because only twice a year we pre-empt our regular twice monthly Meet & Eats held in Findlay and Maumee to hold a Special M&E Event in Bowling Green.
(Please note that our regular M&E events will resume next month!)

It is also "Special" because it is located centrally between Findlay and Maumee.

Being held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, also helps makes this event "Special" as it is centered by week and day of the week between the usual occurrence of our 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday M&E events.

What makes it MOST "Special" is that it gives us all a chance to get together from a much wider area of Northwest Ohio!

So come alone, bring a friend, bring the family, plan on dinner or just grab a coffee. it’s all casual. Stay all evening, stay an hour, stay 10 minutes, or just open the door and say "Hi". It’s up to you.

You are welcome to bring Travel Items and your special Signature Items to these events to show, log and swap.

With the free WiFi service, you can bring your laptop or other WiFi enabled device, to look up caches and logs, check out our local NWOGEO website, check out caching software, show caching pictures,  and even log the Event itself. Occasionally we even look up caches to hunt after the event.

You are welcome to bring your caching and technology questions with you, and if any caching and computer gurus are in attendance, they may be able to offer advice. There are people in our group with knowledge about caching and mapping software, paperless caching, as well as insight into Geocaching.com itself, cache page HTML, programming, and wireless networking and more.

We usually try to set up an Event table to get your name tags, sign the log book, and trade travel items. Be sure to wear a name tag so that we know you are a geocacher, and what to call you!

"Bowling Green Style - NWOGEO Meet & Eat Special"

Please post a note in the logs below if you plan on attending, so that we can give the restaurant an idea of how many people to expect. (Past events here, nearly took over the entire restaurant!)

While no one particular location will serve all cachers in NW Ohio perfectly,Bowling Green was chose as the best location centered between our regular Meet & Eat locations for this special event that meets our expectations to hold a good Meet & Eat.

Our goal is to have our M&E Events, held at a comfortable, handicap accessible, family friendly, open seating, brightly lit, low ambient noise and conveniently located restaurant with good, reasonably priced self-serve food, plus free Wireless Internet service (WiFi).
