Geocache Description:

You'll find this one on the Osprey Trail, one of many such hiking trails in this area of Applegate Lake. The trails here can be confusing, despite having a map at your fingertips.
Parking is available at the Dagelma Trailhead, but beware, as two other trails also connect in at Dagelma. be sure to choose the right one

The story goes...
A boy in a small village grew bored of his job watching the sheep in the pastures. So he decided to play a prank on his fellow townspeople. He screamed that a wolf was in the fields killing sheep, and the town rushed out to ward it off. Upon discovering that the wolf was non-existant, the townsfolk gave the boy a smack on the head, and went about their business once more. Later that day, a true wolf appeared in the fields. The boy called for help, but not a single villager came to his aid. The wolf killed and ate every sheep in that pasture.

Moral: "A liar will not be believed, even when telling the truth."

It contains a logbook, w/pencil and --Info Cards with the information necessary to complete the OPTIONAL puzzle.-- If you do not comply with what is on the card, I will E-mail you a bunch of frowny faces.
