In the past week or so, I have learned that many in our area appreciate the art of the puzzle cache, so I hope they enjoy this one.
(If you don't like puzzle caches, I promise my next one will be much more straightforward!)
The cache is located just off a little trail that Piper and I like to wander along. (The deer in the area agree with us.) In the winter, the trail and deer paths are covered in ice and snow, so
please use caution when walking. In the summer, it's fairly easy going over open ground for the most part. Boots might be a good idea if the weather has been wet, as it can get a little mucky.
If you follow the trails, almost no bushwacking is required. This cache, unfortunately, is not wheelchair accessible.
Do not do this cache after dark, partly because the trail runs along behind some houses and you don't want them thinking you're up to something besides geocaching back there. Given the terrain, as well, it's probably not a good idea, and you don't want to scare the deer!
Cache is a small-medium Ziplock Twist-n-Loc container that has been camouflaged and is winter-friendly.
It contains a logbook, a few trading items, and a commemorative FTF prize in a homemade cache container to take home as well.
Although I included a pencil in the cache,
please bring your own writing stick, just in case.
Please do not put the pencil in the bag with the log book.
