Geocache Description:

Simples multi-cache.

Pt:
A Fonte dos Galos encontra-se a poucos metros de uma antiga nascente de águas termais, na margem do Rio Este.
As águas termais eram conhecidas dos Romanos, que ali tomavam banhos. A construção de prédios na proximidade, que canalizaram para lá os seus esgotos, acabou por destruir a nascente.
A Fonte foi construída em 1639, não tendo relação com as águas termais.

Bem perto encontram-se os muito antigos moinhos de água, dos quais apenas um se encontra em funcionamento.

Para encontrar a cache deve dirigir-se à fonte e contar o número de quadrados de vidro das duas janelas que se encontram à frente da fonte (a).
As coordenadas finais são:
41º N 32.(664+a)
8º W 24.(927-a)

En: The Rooster Fountain (Fonte dos Galos) is just a few meters away from an ancient thermal water spring on East River (Rio Este) edge.
The thermal waters were known to the Romans who bathed there. The buildings grown near by channelled its sewer in the mine destroying it.
The Fountain was built in 1639, having no relation with the thermal waters.

Close by stand some ancient water mills of which only one still functions.

Finding the cache requires finding the fountain and counting the glass squares in the two windows facing the fountain.
