Geocache Description:

A cache in Black Rock Forest that requires you to take a walk in the woods along a couple of trails. Brian b and I braved the snow, ice and fallen trees to find a few caches and to place a couple of new ones.

This should be a relatively easy hike, as the Reservior Trail just starts its climb to the Upper Reservior in the area of the cache. I said "should be", but there were many, many recently downed trees in the area and across the trail, which when combined with the snow and ice that were on the ground when the cache was placed, made the hike more challenging. Update: As of 1-31-2009 the trails have been cleared of most if not all downed trees.

You can combine this cache with several others in the area and enjoy a longer hike (highly recommended!) or take it as a nice stroll in the woods. I decided to go for a combination of finding and hiding and was happy to have brian b's company.

Parking options are the same as for brian b's "Ben's Bridge of Misery" multi, which can be done along with this cache.

Your are looking for a large ammo can that is fairly well stocked and located about 75' off of the trail.
