Fifth annual central Maine Geocaching Winterfest.
Cabin fever got you down? Get out for a meet, greet and something to eat! Starting at noon (12 PM) we're gathering at "Maine's Best Deli". Bring your toys and lets talk about caching. We've a lot of new geocachers on Maine's geocaching websites, and we especially hope they'll come and join us. We'll will be able to answer questions and demonstrate hardware. Be prepared to eat, (and don't order a whole sandwich unless you've got friends to help). Over 100 different sandwich combinations, from the "Jane Fonda" (sliced turkey, sprouts, shredded carrots, sweet peppers, cukes and fresh mushrooms) to the "Jolly John" (lots of baloney, muenster, lettuce and tomato), you'll find something you'll like. (And they also have pasta, fried foods, and salads.)
We will be located in the "back room" - to the left of the service counter - then turn right. We are not allowed to reserve the room, but we always manage to take it over. Space will be tight, but everyone tells us not to change the venue. We'll also have a few door prizes. Note: everyone is usually gone by 1:30, so don't be "fashionably late".
