Petite incursion caussenarde dans l'un des milieux
karstiques les plus originaux de Corrèze, où la roche calcaire
affleure par endroits, blanche et dénudée comme sur la montagne
pelée.
Celle-ci est avide d'eau de surface, qu'elle
absorbe par de nombreuses fissures et qui se perd ensuite dans un
réseau d'artères souterraines pour réapparaître dans quelque
résurgence.
Vos pas vous mèneront jusqu'à la résurgence du
Blagour, à proximité de la station de pompage.
C'est seulement dans les années 50 que la relation
entre la perte de la Couze (où se trouve une autre géocache), où la
rivière devient souterraine, et la résurgence du Blagour, près de
Chasteaux, où elle réapparaît, a été établie. Les deux points sont
séparés d'environ 4km.
Pour trouver la cache, il vous faudra continuer le
chemin sur quelques hectomètres. Profitez-en pour découvrir
d'autres vues sur la montagne pelée et la vallée sèche.

I propose you a small incursion into a karstic site
among one of the most original of Corrèze, where you'll see
calcareous rocks, white and stripped as on the peeled mountain.
This mountain is avid of water, which is absorbed
by many holes in the ground, and which is then lost in a network of
underground arteries to reappear in some resurgence.
Your steps will carry out you until the resurgence
of Blagour, near a pumping station.
It is only since 1950 that the relation between the
"perte de la Couze" (where you can find another geocache), where
the river becomes underground, and the resurgence of Blagour, close
to Chasteaux, where it reappears, has been established. The two
points are separated by 4km.
