Geocache Description:


If you like a nice easy cache, this one is
not for you. It is in Hidden Ponds Park in
Blaine. It is a beautiful place to take in
some great scenery and wildlife. I saw a
couple of Deer and a Bald Eagle at the pond.
The cache is on an island with no way to get
there unless you swim or walk on ice. Please
play it safe and dont go alone. Also, leave the
kids on the main land. Remember, there is no
such thing as safe ice.
The container is another story. It was too open
for a 5 gallon bucket so I had to go with a smaller
container.
There are no hints given. I used the cache rating
system web site to determine the Dificulty and the
Terrain but I made it a 4-5 on 12-16-08 because of the
amount of the DNF's. If this rating needs to be changed
(up-or-down) I will do so when and if it needs to be.
Please obay ALL park rules and hours.
