In this cell block are the eight members of the infamous James-Younger gang who attempted to rob the Northfield National Bank on Sept. 7, 1876. The mug shots for most of the outlaws were taken shortly after the raid, except for the James bros. who were not available.

The information shown above is sufficient to show their accomplices where the gang stashed the ill-gotten gains from their previous robberies before they met their doom in Northfield.

FTF reward is a gift certificate to the Northfield Historical Society museum at the bank exchangeable for two tours - or other merchandise.
