Geocache Description:

You have to be careful on this cache as you will have to step over a few rocks.

I have driven past and even stopped and taken a look at this place a couple of times. I have inquired about and haven't had any luck finding out anything about this place. I will post history once I find something out about it.

So for now look and speculate and maybe put your speculation in your log.

News flash: As of 19 March 2013 I now have some history about this Mystery Location

Thanks to fellow cacher Mesquite the follow information was submit through personal and family knowledge about this location.....

I found your cache "History's Mysteries" and you wanted to know more about the old building. I asked my cousin who was born, raised and still lives just down the road from the cache site. At one time this road and Overton road were the San Angelo highway. The building was a gas station. My grand dad had a gas station just south a couple of miles at what was then Drumright. When my parents got married they bought the old hotel in Drumright and that was their first home. Another mile down Overton road the road turns to the east, at that corner was Panther Draw School. Both my parents went to school there. The old school building was there until in the 1950's when it burned.

Thanks mesquite for shedding some light on the history of this Mystery Location.

Congrats to dekoning for First to Find.
