Geocache Description:

So here's the moment to hide my real first cache, because the others are just translations from hungarian :). This is a short classic traditional cache.
The location: Pilisvörösvár, 18 kms from Budapest.

A tiny history of the city:

The history of the city has begun in the Roman Ages which is proved by archeological researches. For example on the territory of the present-day Szabadságliget was a military campsite of a roman legion.
Originally Pilisvörösvár has received its name in the "Turkish ages". In 1543 Lala Mustafa a turkish pasha built here a castle from red loam to protect the road between Pest & Esztergom.
The castle was glittered in red from far away. Therefore the turks have named the township as "kizil hiszár palankaszani (Vörösvár [hungarian] - Redcastle [english] ). The city has worn its name since 1901. In the 18th century, there was a great fame, which was the "post-road". This was built in 1749 for the enactment of Maria Theresa. The traffic started up first in 1752.
A so called "deliszánsz" (stage-coach line) ran here on schedule which had a station in the village until 1888 (at the place of the present-day town hall). On 16th November 1895, the first train has passed through Vörösvár on the Budapest - Esztergom steam-train line.
