As with any forest, it is ever changing. Some day this cache will no longer have its cover, but until then, enjoy the geo beaker...
The Jackson County Forest is open to the public for recreational use. With that said, this area is heavily used during the deer gun season, so take this into account when you traverse the Jackson County Forest.
