La Heidenkirche
La Heidenkirche est le dernier vestige du village disparu de Birsbach. Il semblerait que cette église remonte aux premiers siècles de la christianisation de la région et ait pris la place d'un vieux temple païen d'où son nom. Située en forêt, la Heidenkirche domine la petite vallée du "Spielersbach". Des fouilles furent entreprises en 1911, ainsi qu'en 1999 et l'édifice a été consolidé début 2000.
Cette cache ainsi que la cache Borne 1757 (GC1HMYR) sont situées le long du parcours fléché Cercle Jaune. Durée du parcours environ 1h00 (sans la recherche des caches)
The Heidenkirche
The Heidenkirche is the last remains of the lost village of Birsbach. It seems that this church is dates back from the early centuries of Christianity in the region and has taken the place of an old pagan temple from where its name. Located in a forest, the Heidenkirche dominates the small valley of “Spielersbach”. Searches were undertaken in 1911 and 1999 and the building was consolidated in early 2000.
