Certova brázda – rodište svatého Prokopa
Konec Certovy brázdy naleznete v obci Chotoun nedaleko Ceského Brodu. Auto zaparkujte blízko návsi, témer vše je nadosah. Chotoun je starobylou obcí, kde se okolo roku 987 narodil svatý Prokop. Bohužel jak obec, tak i památky jsou pomerne zanedbané a urcite i proto sem v podstate nejezdí žádní turisté, ackoliv koncentrace zajímavostí je tu skutecne velká. Nejvýznacnejší památkou je kostel svatého Prokopa od Jan Blažeje Santiniho – Aichla, který je ale bohužel témer porád uzavrený. Nedaleko kostela je socha a studánku svatého Prokopa se zázracnou vodou. Voda má velmi príznivé úcinky na plodnost jak mužskou, tak i ženskou, takže mužete opatrne vyzkoušet, voda je pitná. Za pozornost stojí Prokopský dvur, kde se údajne svatý Prokop narodil. Na jeho severní stene je okénko, kterým mužete nahlédnout do místnosti, kde se narodil.
Cache je umístena asi 350 metru od návsi nedaleko mohyly, která je patrne hrobkou velmože ze 7. století pred naším letopoctem. Nedaleko od mohyly je konec Certovy brázdy, kterou až od Sázavy podle legendy vyoral svatý Prokop pluhem taženým certem. Jedná se ale spíše o prastarou obchodní cestu.

Devil‘s furrow – St. Prokop‘s birthplace
The end of the Devil’s furrow can be found in Chotoun village near Ceský Brod. Park your car at the village square, almost everything is there. Chotoun is an ancient settlement where St. Prokop was born in 987 A.D. Unfortunately both the village and the sights are run-down and this is probably the main reason why this place is not visited by tourists frequently, although the concentration of interesting sights is really unusual.
The most important sight there is the St. Prokop Church, which was built by Jan Blazej Santini – Aichel, the church is unfortunately almost permanently closed. Few meters from the church you can also find St. Prokop‘s statue and the well with miraculous water. The water has very favourable effects on potency, both male and female. You can try it carefully, the water is drinkable. You should not miss St. Prokop’s Courtyard, where St. Prokop was born. There is a small window on the north wall, which leads to the room of his birth.
The cache is located approximately 350 meters far from the village square near by the burial mound, which likely is the tomb of the 7th century B.C. magnifico. Close to the tomb is the end of the Devil’s furrow, which according to the legend has been made by St. Prokop by a plough pulled by a devil, leading from Sázava monastery to Chotoun. In reality is seems to be remainings of the old trade path.
