"Soldiers were sent to the Jinshin War from here in Asuka period."
"The Tomb of Taira no Masakado's Head"
"Birthplace of Toyotomi Hideyoshi"
"Birthplace of Urashima Taro"(Urashima Taro is the famous hero of the Japanese folk tale)
and so on...
If they are all true, here is a very important places in the history of Japan...
That may or may not be true, Tanpachiyama is known as a showplace of cherry blossoms in local.
