The church was built in 1862 of Kentish rag-stone, with a 145 foot freestone spire. It was financed by Arthur Pryor of Hylands and replaced a previous building on its site. There is a rich Victorian east window and other Victorian and Edwardian glass.
The cache is a magmetic 35mm film cannister which has a log book but
