A micro container on the edge of a beautiful little island in lake Pontoosuc.
This is a pleasant 0.7 mile paddle to a cute little island in the middle of lake Pontoosuc. Not too many power boats out on the beautiful and special October day when it was placed.
This could also be accessed over the ice in winter, but obviously use caution to make sure the ice is thick enough.
There are several places to put your boat in, but the distance given is from the state boat landing, which is just Northwest of the small dam at the Southern tip of the lake.
We were surprised this lake and island didn't have a hydrocache, so now that is remedied. Enjoy !!!
