Tom_Kat: I've been going back and forth about archiving this cache. Since I've had to replace it twice, I figured I'd remove it before another cache container came up missing. However, the container I picked up today was the one that went missing a month or two ago, and the one that replaced it wasn't there. Very weird. The fact that this seems to have become a "numbers" cache, combined with the previous log has sealed its fate. Thanks to all who have visited. Cache is removed.

Geocache Description:

When I was younger, one of my buddies and I used to come down here and drive golfballs into the lake. We would then retrieve them by diving off of his parent's boat the next time we had it in the water. If the ball wasn't retrievable it was a good drive. This summer I found that people must still hit golfballs into the water - several beaches to the north, my brothers and I found quite a few golfballs out in 6-8 feet of water.

This park is usually deserted, but during the summer, especially on weekends and holidays, there can be alot of activity in the area. Please use stealth if there are muggles in the area.

Hopefully while you're here, you'll take a few moments to enjoy the view. On most clear days you can see Canada as well as the freighters near the horizon. Although it's not required, we hope that you'll take a picture of your caching team here and post it along with your log.
