da sich hier scheinbar nichts weiter tut und leider keine weitere Reaktion auf Reviewer-Notes kamen, archiviere ich diesen Cache.

Falls Du diese Cacheidee nicht weiterverfolgen möchtest, denke bitte daran eventuellen Geomüll (Cachebehälter, Zwischenstationen) wieder einzusammeln. Solltest Du nochmals Interesse an einem Cache hier haben, so musst Du nun leider ein neues Listing dazu anlegen.

GC to be mastered using a racing- or mountain-bicycle to climb the artificial hill Trages

Die Hochhalde Trages ist die höchste Erhebung im Süden Leipzigs. Sie entstand in den 1930er und 1940er Jahren aus Aufschlussmassen des Tagebaus Espenhain. In den 1950er Jahren wurde mit der Aufforstung begonnen.

Das besonders Spannende für Rennradfahrer, die im Süden Leipzigs unterwegs sind ist, dass man in dieser sonst so flachen Landschaft die Gelegenheit hat, seine Bergtauglichkeit auf den Prüfstand zu stellen.

Der Eingang zur Strecke befindet sich bei N 51° 11.669 E 012° 28.336. Von dort zieht sich ein ca. 3.9km langer asphaltierter Weg ostwärts in einem lagen Bogen südostwärts.
Dabei steigt der Weg von 150m auf ca. 215m Höhe an - ok 75m - das ist kein wirklicher Berg ;-) aber gut genug zum trainieren.

Bei N 51° 10.661 E 012° 30.953 endet der asphaltierte Weg, hier empfiehlt sich das Absteigen (vom Rennrad bei den zarten Laufrädern).

Bis zum Cache ist es dann nicht mehr so weit.

If you're a passionate racing cyclist living in Leipzig - you might miss oportunities to test your abilities and endurance on sloped terrain, let alone mountains.

This GC gives you the unique opportunity to find a cache AND climb a slope.
The artificial elevation of "Trages" results from surface mining activities in that area and dates back to the 1930s and 1940s. Its hill offers you the possibility of climbing about 75m of altitude with your bike - well 75m is not a real altitude ;-)
You will find a constantly-elevating paved way of about 3.9km length which will lead you to the southmoust tip of the Trages-hill.

You can access the entrance to the bicycle way at N 51° 11.669 E 012° 28.336.
At N 51° 10.661 E 012° 30.953 the way is no longer paved - you may consider getting of your bike (and go easy on your expensive and delicate racing-bike wheels, made of carbon) and walk the reminder of the way - from there you aren't too far away from the GC.
