Figuratively speaking, a "ten-dollar word" is a pejorative term for a meretricious or bombastic word. A quondam salubrious divertisement, thesaurus browsing has dyslogistically become passé. In my halcyon frankpledge, bibliotheca sojournments have diminished such that the municipality has nonrelativistically curtailed the hours of openability. The bibliomaniacal aficionado who for reasons of affordability frequents such establishments must now be feeling like a monorchid.
The incongruity of building emphasis on education contrasted with the dysgenic regression from magniloquent colloquy is perplexing. How did we ordain augmented edification, yet receive instead degraded vernacular? Ten-dollar words are not nonreusable, no supplemental remuneration is requisite. Are compulsive geocachers troglodytes or members of the intelligentsia? The labyrinths of this challenge attempt to examine that conundrum, although each faction puts its pantalones on one leg at a time.

Only fifteen of the words above are important to the puzzle. Each represents a single digit. The other words are just noise. I originally included the word phenomenalistically, but I noticed that it had two values, and I couldn't justify making you choose one of them semi-arbitrarily.
