This is an easy, semi winter friendly cache in this great park. This trail was available for dogs previously but they are not allowed now, but we still love dogs, so enjoy the hike. This cache is about .5 miles from the nearest parking(across from the shuttle pick up).
The cache is a ammo can with a log book, dog & kid stuff and lots of room. We love dogs and thought a cache for dogs would be good. Please let us know if you cache with a dog and anything about your dog you would like to share, thanks. If you could post photos that would be great. This cache has been registered with the Three Rivers Park District. Please obey all park rules and have an enjoyable hike. ** UPDATE ** After the original spot disappeared after the trail rebuild, we relocated the cache further south. There is now barbed wire near the cache site. Please be careful and watch the kiddos!
