In a Dark, Dark Wood Multi-cache
Great T'Phon: Looks like markers have gone again. Archiving so the woods are available to new caches. Fun while it was here and got lots of fav points but I don't have time to maintain now.

This Cache MUST be done at night to see the markers, they just about show up at dusk, but are much clearer when it is dark.
Co-ordinates are for parking to start Night Cache following markers. Total distance to final cache and back to car is about 2.5 miles and includes a couple of hill-climbs. (It feels further in the dark!)
From car parking, walk down path heading north and look for reflective markers in trees. They will shine best if your torch is held at eye level. The markers are at no further than 100 yards spacing. Look carefully at path junctions to see which route to take. When you see the double marker look at fence behind the tree for the canister which contains the co-ordinates for the second cache. Continue along the path, (I repeat CONTINUE) now without markers to 2nd cache. You have to go past the cache by 0.14 miles before turning. This contains location for final cache. The final cache has a single marker to help you find the correct tree.
Don't be tempted to follow a straight line.
THERE ARE OLD QUARRIES IN THE WOOD, STICK TO THE PATHS.
Take spare batteries and a friend. (I'm always up for a walk if you can't persuade anyone else to go with you.)
Difficulty would be 3/3.5 in daylight, so have rated as 4/4 to take account of the dark. Due to tree cover signal may be poor, but caches are all easy to find with clues.
