Dirty_Bird: Unfortunately, due to new regulations we are archiving this cache.
We are disappointed that the State Park Systems have chosen to regulate geocaching. The rules that they are applying to the geocaching permits are not applicable to all who use the State Park system and therefore unfair. Hunters for example can go off the trails, can place items in the woods (stands, feeders, etc..) and all with loaded weapons. God forbid a geocacher take someone someplace interesting with a small hidden container.

DB & BNB spent the day Sunday removing all stages and parts of this cache. SORRY.

Confusion is the welcome mat at the door of creativity.
Creative Confusion is a multiple-puzzle cache, not just a single puzzle leading to a final. Do not expect to simply solve the puzzle on this page and log the final. That would not be a true Puzzle Masters Challenge neither would it be our style. Instead, you will be presented with a series of puzzles to solve this cache. Solving the puzzle below will reveal your next challenge. All of the puzzles woven into this cache will ultimately yield the coordinates to an ammo box and logbook located somewhere in Wharton State Forest. Expect to spend many hours working on this cache and be prepared with a broad skill set. If you do not enjoy puzzle caches, this cache is not for you. All of the puzzles can be solved from the comfort of your home and only require the cacher to visit the final once they have solved the puzzles, thus the low terrain rating. However, this is accurately rated as a 5 difficulty.
In September of 2008, Chaos Puzle Corp. (CPC) acquired information that had that had been hidden from the world for many decades. The information had been handed down from one generation to the next, encoded in puzzles, by individuals who felt the world was not ready for it. When CPC acquired and decoded this sensitive information they decided to continue the long standing tradition of encoding the information but they are no longer hiding it from the world. Instead, they are willing to let you in on the secret, if you can prove yourself to be a true Puzzle Master. Below is a scanned copy of an old parchment paper with a coded message on it. This puzzle is the start of your challenge. Unlock its secrets and it will put you on the path to discovering the puzzle masters secret. CPC has reported that the code on the parchment paper is near impossible to break using brute force. However, an expert puzzle solver will find that all of the information needed to solve the cipher is here. For those unable to crack the code with the information provided here, a trip to the posted coordinates will prove extremely helpful. Once you have solved the cipher below, you will be ready to begin your adventure.



PMC: Puzzle Masters Challenge
This puzzle is part of a series of puzzles created by the greatest Puzzle Masters of the Mid Atlantic Region. There are a number of Puzzle Masters contributing to this series. Solve all of the Puzzle Masters' creations, follow the storylines, gather the clues and find the final. Will you accept the challenge? Each puzzle is a unique work of art created and owned by each Puzzle Master/Puzzle Team. In each cache there will be a clue that you must gather and record. These clues will lead you to a final mystery cache located somewhere in the mid-Atlantic region. This series is designed to lead you on an epic adventure that will require Master puzzle-solving skills and extensive travel to unique locations. You must travel and log in at each cache in order to claim a find on the final. Due to the extensive time and effort put into this challenge, the cache can be done as a group but each member of the group must go to each cache site and sign each log. Dividing into sub groups and pooling your efforts will not be allowed.
