Come and watch some Southwest cachers completing (we hope) the Commando Challenge course on Woodbury Common.
There are 40 Southwest Cachers taking part with teams from Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
The Devon Team "Caching Commando" has a start time of 9.36am.
Somerset team "Cache Me If You Can" has a start time of 10.42am.
Cornish team "Kernow Kaching Kops" has a start time of 10.52am.
Cornish team "Kernow Kachers" has a start time of 10.54 am.
Then, last but by no means least, Kernow Kacher Cornish Maids has a start time of 10.56.
Please be aware that the place will be very busy but we will make sure that the geocaching supporters stand out from the crowd! Rena of Wheelybarrow will be there with the event book and most likely will be carrying a flag with the geocaching logo on it, or something similar!
She will also be providing a chance for people to swap coins and TB's so feel free to drop some in.
Just to confirm, we will meet at 9:00am at the above co-ordinates (or as near as possible) on Saturday 11th October 2008.
We haven't a clue how long it will take (probably about 1 hour per team, depending how busy it is?) but near the end, at a place called "Black Bog", there is a spectators area where you should be able to get some good photos! The co-ordinates are N50°39.872' W003°21.562'.
For those taking part in the Challenge - don't forget to sign the log book as you pass!
