Some friends of ours have been doing an end-of-summer father & son camping trip at Watoga State Park for many years. Last year they invited my son and I and we experienced Watoga for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed the park. This year we decided to place a cache in the park since, as of placing the cache, there is only one other cache inside the park. Park at the Riverside Campground check-in station and take the 1 mile Arrowhead Trail to the Ann Bailey lookout tower. There is a very scenic view and a picnic table near the tower. Original cache contents are mostly kid-friendly items. We felt they should be rewarded if they make it to the top of the hill! A second option is to take the 3 mile Ann Bailey Trail in from the top of the park. It is longer but the terrain is less severe.
