This is a
cache which takes a bit of effort to find.
Coordinate numbers are encoded with systems widely used by
scouts.
All coordinates are given in UTM. Universal
Transverse Mercator is a two dimensional grid based
system, and the most simple system for land navigation.
The
coordinate given for this listing leads to a parking area, stage 1
is found by solving this:
UTM DC U, E AFFGIAF N GAIEIHA
The cache
consists of 3 stages which must all be visited to gather enough
information to find the cache itself. From the parking area to the
cache there is a walking distance of 3-4 km.
Besides the
GPS receiver you’ll need pen, paper, common sense, and maybe the
encoding systems given below :-)
