This cache is located close to a tourist attraction, the Whitehorse Fish Ladder. This Ladder is required to allow salmon to get to their spawning streams and creeks that are upstream of the Whitehorse Hydroelectric Dam.
The cache is located atop a hill that overlooks the hydroelectric dam and surrounding area. There are a number of paths that lead to the top and the view is definitely worth the effort. The path that circles the top also has some great views, especially of schwatka lake. The cache is hidden in some deadwood. Since the hiding spot is near a very heavily used trail, it should be hidden again carefully after you have found it.
