Rilic-Sutvid is a mountain range southern from Biokovo Mountains above Makarska Riviera - along the Dalmatian coast of Adriatic. From Bikovo is separated by saddle Staza (730 m) in the north and continues till the valley of Neretva in the south. The north part above village Zivogosce - Sutvid (Velika Kapela) - is higher (1155 m) and south part above village Drvenik is lower - Sokolic (788 m), Sveti Ilja (773 m). Rilic is typical karst landscape with a lot of karst formations. The north slope is covered by forest but the south one is woodless.
The view from the top is magnificent. You can see all islands of Dalmatian coast in the seaside. You can see the shore from Split in the northwest to the entry of the Neretva to the Adriatic sea in south. When the weather is very clear, it is possible to see Monte Gargano in Italy, which is about 250 km away. Inland can be seen the mountains range of Dinara in north and Durmitor in Montenegro in southeast.
In summer 2010 - I established a new easier child-cache Rilic-Sutvid - light (GC2DYC7 ).
There are two marked paths to the summit.
Both of them are very interesting with beautiful views. There are many places, that worth to be seen. The both are good marked.
The first one starts from Zivogosce-Porat and goes through Skenderi.

The second one starts in village Zivogosce-Blato and goes through village Strn, abandoned village Kolovrat and saddle Prosik.

The trip is very difficult and long. It takes about 4 hours. The back way takes 3.5 hours. In the summer you need at least 3 l waters and I recommend to start the trip very early, while the track is in shadow. You need good shoes, because the trail leads directly across rocky ground during the ridge climb.
